Meet SSF OopsMyZippersDown, aka Clint. Clint is a 2001 Chestnut Overo gelding that has had quite a show career already. As a weanling Clint took the journey to Fort Worth, TX to appear in the APHA World Championship show and finished in the top 10 in open and amateur weanling geldings with his previous owner. As a yearling and very limited showing, Clint earned his APHA ROM in Yearling LongeLine.
Well here it is, 2007 is half over, and I would like to say that Clint and I are truely blessed for all the support and love of our friends to help us thru this past year.... but with only 1/2 of a show season in 2006 , we finished in the top 20 honor roll for APHA Amt. trail!! and 2nd in the zone!! Congrats to our hauling buddies Anne and Finley for winning the Zone!! way to go girls!! if Clint and I could not have won it, we are so glad you did!!
Numerous other wonderful endings did come out of the 2006 year despite everything... but here we are on the road again, but this time as a SENIOR horse..eeks!! haha... anyway... watch for us in the Amateur all around events this year!
I would again like to thank Bill and Deb Korsack of Taylorsville, GA for giving me the once in a lifetime opportunity to own such a magnificent horse! He truely is my dream horse, and I could have never expected all of this!! Once again... THANK YOU.
Condolences are sent out Ann,Brian, Seth & Cole Laughhunn of Smooth Sippin Farm, GA on the untimely death of world champion sire, DoubleDoseofScotch, aka Clints Daddy!! Whiskey was truely one of a kind, and taken all too soon to greener pastures... our thoughts and prayers are always with you all. I know that Whiskey will be watching down on Clint & I from Heaven on every ride, and I hope that we can just continue to make him a proud papa!
